The biggest positive factor for India and its growth in coming years is the Young and working population, but on the contrary according to a report by NASSCOM, only 10 per cent of fresh graduates and 25 per cent B.Tech & MBA graduates are actually employable in India. This unemploybality is not because of lack of jobs but purely due to lack of goal setting, communication skills, poor confidence levels and lack of commitment.
These days, training has become a huge business, and it is growing faster than the software industry. We hear of spoken English, Communication, Personality Development institutes blooming everyday. The question is “are they adding any value or simply increasing the stress”? An individual joining an institute expects solace at the end of the training period but the reality is shockingly the reverse. The need of the hour is to drive in an attitudinal change through confidence building, Goal Setting, and the ability to create an environment which transfuses the same laterally.
